"Shop for Charity", an On-Line Fundraising Benefit for Rainbows

RAINBOWS  NJ is pleased to announce its participation in the national "Shop for Charity" campaign on the world wide web. If you love to shop, why not visit this On-Line Shopping Mall to look for great deals from featured stores across the country? Every time you make a purchase, a percentage will be donated to the designated charity of your choice… simply follow the steps below, and see how Shopping for Charity” can support Rainbows NJ and change the world one purchase at a time.

  1. Go to: http://www.shopforcharityday.net. At the bottom of the home page, is a green bar labeled "Click Here to Visit the Shop For Charity E-Mall"… when you click on it, it brings you to the "Featured Charity" page which highlights a designated charity for that day.
  2. To designate Rainbows NJ as your "charity of choice", please scroll down to the Blue Bar labeled "Select Another Charity" and type in "Rainbows NJ".
  3. You can also designate Rainbows NJ by locating the red "Choose an Organization to Shop For" button on the left sidebar, and typing in "Rainbows NJ".
  4. When you get to the Rainbows NJ screen, locate the "Click Here to Shop for Rainbows" button on the left sidebar, and click to begin shopping at featured stores designating a percentage of their sales to Rainbows NJ that day.

EVERY day is Shop for Charity Day! This on-line fundraiser is offered in connection with their parent company, Together We Can Save The World, Inc. which was formed in March 2004 "to create a way for people to become more active in helping non-profit organizations in ways other than simply sending money". This organization also promotes local volunteerism by helping connect individuals to non-profit charity projects in their local communities.
